| The Premier Skills Award System |
| The
award system is broken into 5 levels. Each level increases the extent
of the skill needed to complete the assessment successfully. On
all parts of the programme the player is involved in skilful play
and has to make their own decisions on time and space.
The programme is designed to enable entry level players to develop
a highly skilful base to their game.

Assessment Level 1 - Individual
Player Award
The skill level involved in this part of
the assessment programme ensures that young players develop the
skills needed to play in small sided games with other skilful players.
All players completing this award will:-
- be able to download a certificate for
each test successfully completed at this level
- be sent a Level 1 Diploma
- be featured on the Premier Skills Web
site “ Level 1 Role of Honour”

Assessment Level 2 - Outstanding
Team Player Award
Achievement of this assessment level means
the player has achieved a high level of skill and understanding.
Players achieving this level will stand out in junior games situations
and will be able to influence the outcomes of competitive games.
All players successfully completing this award will:-
- be able to download a certificate for achieving
successful completion of each test at this level.
- be sent the level 2 diploma
- be featured on the Premier Skills web site “Level
2 Role of Honour”

Assessment Level
3 Representative Player Award
The third level of the award system assess
the player in a game situation playing through the thirds of the
field. The player will need to show high levels of skill and decision
making at this level of assessment. Players who succeed should gain
opportunities to be selected for age group representative or league
representative teams
All players successfully completing this award will:-
- will be sent the level 3 diploma.
- be highlighted on the level 3 “Academy
Board” on the Premier Skills web site.

Assessment Level
4 Professional Player Award
Level 4 assesses the players ability to show
outstanding skill and awareness when playing through the thirds
of the pitch. It assesses skilful play in tight areas.
It is assumed that players who are successful at this level have
the ability to play at a top professional level.
All players successfully completing this award will:-
- will be sent the level 4 diploma
- be highlighted on the level 4 Academy

Assessment Level
5 - International Player Award
This is the ultimate
test. Players will be assessed in a game. The area will be tight
and the situation will demand high level of skill and decision making
produced at top speed.
Only outstanding players will cope with the
assessment and players who succeed should expect to play at top
international level. All players successfully completing this award
will:-
- will be sent the level 5 diploma
- enter the Premier Skills web site “Hall
of fame”

All players who successfully complete all 5 award levels will be highly skilled, outstanding soccer players.
